First Post, because every blog has to have one

Nobody will read this. At least, nobody I know will read this. Or even if somebody I know is reading this, both you and I can hide behind the anonymity of the internet. And that is the assumption I am going with when I write in this blog.

This is my first blog... I've had other "blogs" for updates and information, but I think a blog should be about oneself, one's thoughts and feelings. So this is my first such blog about my thoughts and feelings.

I will do my best, however, to refrain from boring you with grand be-all end-all philosophies, or presenting you with yet another answer to some great but completely inconsequential philosophical question. Though from time to time, I just can't help but let my thoughts skim over those questions the giants before me have pondered on, and my writing tends to follow the crooked detours that my mind takes.

As for me, I'm just really very normal and average in most ways. I'm a curious college student, mostly happy, sometimes moody, usually competitive. I like traveling, but I'm not adventurous. I'm more of a stay-at-home kind of a girl, always lazing about in my bed and browsing on the internet (this is aided by the fact that my laptop is always right next to my bed). That introversion--and by that I mean the Myers-Briggs definition of introvert, and not being anti-social--combined with my traditional Asian upbringing (and probably other, more subtle influences) makes me 20 and unkissed (never mind other things). But I'm not particularly in a hurry, since I believe in independence and self-reliance.
